starry sky over big bear lake

the milky way is rising over a small portion of big bear lake,this is a single shot that i captured around midnight,no composite or blending of multiple images,just one single shot,it was a very dark moonless night and i was surpised to see how much colors and light my camera recorded on that shot,i “painted” what i could with my flashlight but still not sure where the light on the boulders came from,nonetheless very happy with the result as there were so many stars that night
